Use Natural Light!

When possible, use a tripod, long exposures,  and natural light to softly illuminate your guest room.
The difference adds a depth of luster and "romance" that is rarely duplicated when using flash (of any kind).

For ease, simply use your cameras built-in light meter to determine the length of exposure. Bracket if desired.
